Northeast Regional Tax Collectors & Treasurers Association
Welcome to the NEW home page of the Northeast Regional Tax Collectors and Treasurers Association.
Our Board of Directors hopes that all reading this message are safe and well, and looking forward to better days ahead. COVID 19 has changed the way our Association functions. Our most recent continuing education event was our 2019 annual conference in Ogunquit, Maine. We had no way of knowing that we would not be able to gather in 2020. Thirty-plus years of conferences, all on hold !!
During 2020, we faced the beginning of the pandemic with uncertainty and indecision. We put plans for gathering in the fall of 2020 on hold indefinitely. As the calendar page turned to 2021, our Board of Directors began to regroup. Since then, we have discussed holding online Board meetings and offering some online programs or classes. 2021 also brings the debut of our new Northeast Regional website, featuring an online dues/membership application and other features.
Northeast Regional includes the northeastern United States from Maine to Maryland, as well as the District of Columbia and some of our neighboring Canadian provinces. There is always room at our table for new members. Each member state and province is entitled to “at large” representation on our Board of Directors, and the president of each state or provincial association, or their designee, is automatically considered a member of our Board.
If YOU are interested in becoming more active in our group, perhaps as an at-large representative of your own state or province, please reach out to one of the contacts on this page.
Thank you, and please check back here for updates.

Message from the President
In 2021 I was honored to be elected President of the Northeast Regional Tax Collectors and Treasurers Association. I have been an active member of the NRTCTA for over 30 years and I look forward to serving as your President for the next two years.
As President, and with the help of my outstanding Vice President, Patricia Moisio, and a dedicated, hardworking board, we promise to provide you with a conference that will be educational, informative and entertaining.
I am pleased to announce that the 34rd Annual Conference will be held September 24 – 27, 2023 at the Atlantic Sands Hotel, Rehoboth, DE. Mark your calendars!!!! You will have a great opportunity to earn CEU credits, meet new people and reacquaint with old friends.
The NRTCTA is pleased to announce their second online workshop. Please refer to our most recent newsletter or on our website at NRTCTA.org/workshop.
The Northeast Association’s membership consists of Collectors, Treasurers, and CFOs from various states. Not only will we learn how other states run their offices, and the procedures and tools they use, but we will gain knowledge that may assist us in doing our jobs in an even greater professional manner.
I invite you all to register to attend the upcoming conference so that you can share in the experience.
I look forward to seeing you in Delaware!
